Coach was afraid that Korpi was not in good enough condition to skate her programs to the end.
– And she quite didn’t. On free skate Kiira eased up her program at the end and that was a wise decision.

Kiira couldn’t believe her eyes when the results were final. She took bronze even when few weeks ago she was considering of withdrawing from the competition.
– After my skate I never thought that I would get a medal.

Despite a little unsecure free skate Kiira took bronze at European Championships.
– It wasn’t the easiest place to go on ice after Carolina, I just tried to get strenght from it and enjoy the ride – and that’s what I did. There were some little mistakes but who cares, Kiira rejoiced after the bronze was confirmed.
