Ilta-Sanomat interviewed Kiira at Vierumäki where she participated in the Finnish skating associations selection camp for the next seasons international team. At the camp old team members and new applicants go through physical tests and recieve skating and health related education. Here’s what Kiira told about her plans for the spring and summer:

  • After easter she’ll go to Paris to skate in a Gala
  • At the end of month she’ll probably go to Japan for Japan Open
  • May is just basic training
  • At the beginning of june there’s a two week camp in Tampere
  • After that she’ll probably go to Tartu in Estonia to train with a Russian coach

Watch the video interview here (Ilta-Sanomat).

As a sidenote, “mr-squirrel” from Italy has sketched some ink drawings of Kiira, see those on his blog.

Update: The Finnish Figure Skating Association has published the Team Finland for season 2007-2008. No changes regarding the “A-Team” compared to last season.
