Japan Open 2007 results

team_europe.jpg

According to the Judges Scores (pdf) Kiira singled two jumps but had otherwise a clean skate with level 3 spiral sequence, level 3 and 4 spins and level 2 step sequence. She scored 98.63 points which is pretty much what she has been scoring this spring. Kimmie Meissner obviously had a bad day, but only couple of points would have been needed to beat also Mao Asada. When adding up the scores by the teams, Team Japan won, Team Europe became second and Team North America was left in the third place.
