Unfortunately i didn’t saw Kiira’s FS, but points seems to be quite nice, so i guess it went just fine. :-)

Yes the program was fine, though not perfect. There were some mistakes and judges found some jumps underrotated and gave a bit lower levels than usually, but it could be a great program for the Euros, and it will!

    Congrats Kiira!
    Happy holidays!

Could somebody wiser tell me why does Kiira always get lower component score than Laura (in nats Kiira got 58.75 and Laura 61.25)? Again Kiira had much cleaner program than Laura but they gave higher component score to Laura and with those score she almost got as high score as Kiira got in FS. In Finlandia Trophy component score took Laura over Kiira although her jumps sucked (as in nationals, too). I’m not the judge, so I can’t tell which things make Laura “better” skater than Kiira. To my eyes Kiira is even more shining and graceful than Laura.

Well, the program component score is a mystery for me (too). It shows the actual sympathy and mood of the judges, the actual world rankings and the skating order of the actual day and so on…
It’s a subjective part of the score, which will never be objective…
    But it’s only my opinion.
