Ladies free skating of Euros 2010 was over.
Kiira Korpi fell and had couple of other mistakes. Got 99.42 points for FS and fell down to fourth in final standings. Only 0.86 points from third.
Kiira will go to Vancouver with her Finnish team mate Laura Lepistö.

Unfortunately that flu had some effects on her performance, she looked very exhausted after the free skating today. And even with this she was able to improve a bit her personal best total score. Congrats Kiira!
It was very sad to see her so heartbroken in the interview
She has all the capabilities to make it into the medals and even win in European level, she just hasn’t been able to produce two good programs in one ECh competition – not this year, not in 2009 and not in 2008… She seems to be a very level headed young woman, feet firmly on ground, so I’m sure she won’t let this discourage her. Luckily for all of us, her fans, she seems to love this sport so much that she will grind her teeth and just keep trying harder and harder and harder due to these hardships. Let’s all wish the best of luck (because that hasn’t been on her side lately…) for the Olympics!
So close, so close.. Carolina was just too good today, but with clean skating Kiira had really good chances for silver. And only one point would have take her to the bronze..
Well, the most important competition of the season is only a month away. Hopefully Kiira will succeed in both of her programs there!

Kiira is a genuine person if she cries it because she is emotional and “real” that’s a insult since you have no proof, you need more respect.
