  I saw on aamulehti.fi a huge polemic about Kiira’s gala…most of all about the dress she worn…I speak about the numerous comments about the article…

  Same thing on MTV3’s website. Some people doesn’t even seem to realize that exhibition gala is only a show and got nothing to do with compiting. Also the idea of police costum and changing it to a kind of evening dress was totally missed. It’s all in Beyonce’s video of that “If I Were A Boy” -song. But still media (especially MTV3) tells that Kiira was doing some sort of sexy striptease show. They just don’t understand or know (or don’t want to tell) that it was based on that video..

  It’s very singular and mediatic that media and pople,after some days,speaks more about Kiira than Laura …even if Laura won a silver medal…

  Kiira is always protagonist..and I liked very very much her gala..

  One of our Finnish tabloid magazines (Iltalehti) had a big picture of Kiira on its cover on Monday, in that “police uniform” with text “Kiira tihkui seksiä!” (“Kiira oozed sex” or something like that). The article about the skate was however quite positive, they didn’t criticize her. I guess for tabloids like that more sex is always better anyway I think for Kiira herself, just IMHO, it was more about fun and about imitation of that video Finner mentioned, than sex. And I wouldn’t consider her costume change striptease at all – yes, she removed one part of clothing, but really…

  I just think that part of the media is really confused with her… one day they describe her as an angel, perfect milk maid with no flaws at all, and next day they run an article of her “oozing sexuality”. That’s versatility for you

  Kiira said herself: “Other skaters have been a bit scared after seeing me in this uniform. But someone has to maintain order here!”

  I think she ozzed sex but in the same time beautyness like milk maid girl….also…magazine and people realized that she is not ONLY an angelic girl..but simply a girl…wonderful nice and cute…..it’s normal…
