World class choreographer David Wilson is responsible of creating Kiira’s new Evita -long program.
YLE Sport News made a story of Wilson and Korpi working together.

Kiira ended the NHK Trophy 2010 in Nagoya with a final 4th place, and a good FS; fantastic Program Components, but once again with a Technical Elements score not good enough to ensure her top positions. She realized 148,44 score, and it’s been a pity, ’cause podium was far less than two points…
Anyway, important points for one of her season’s target: be in the first six positions of Grand Prix ranking, to take part to finals in China.
Well done Kiira, we all saw the famous Finnish “sisu”!

Kiira’s got a 52,60 score after her SP: she’s 5th in the ranking at the moment, quite close to first, Carolina Kostner.

Not a perfect performance, she’s been punished by Technical Elements: and she’s not new to this, unfortunately.
And here is the starting order for FS:

Welcome to a brand new Kiira-Korpi.net site!
We have moved our site to Finland, which should provide much faster browsing experience for most of our visitors. Also the login and commenting problems should be a thing from the past now! If you have still problems, contact as at kiirakorpinet@gmail.com.
You can now find all articles from all of the different versions of this site from the archives! That is 435 blog posts from as far as February 2006! Happy reading and nostalgic feelings! There are some unreadable text in the articles because of Japanese characters, but you can just skip that text.

Second place for Kiira in Vantaa 2010.
Here’s the final ranking:
A global good performance, but too many mistakes in triple jumps.
Anyway… well done Kiira, Akiko Suzuki is a very, very good skater, and this is another step towards the target of entering one of six places in top world ranking.
