Damn. A real disaster. What’s happened?
Worst flop in career, Kiira said. That’s true, indeed. Two “open” jumps, not valid so not counted for score, with Axel not executed, a missing combination because of a fall on Triple Flip (I’ll never understand the reason why she keeps on trying with his kind of jump, which could get her so many points but really never digested, even in the past)… in the end, no qualification for FS (reserved for top 24), and no more slots for Finland next Worlds.

Probably, higher level’s competitions before these Championships were too few, besides some training problems: and technical skills to improve at all, ’cause she has all the chances to do it.
Remember Goteborg 2008, her tears after that ninth place? Seemed a failure… still remains the best performance at Worlds (with 2011).
It’s been a pity, but as Scarlett O’Hara said, ending “Gone with the wind”…  (to be continued)
