Kiira is frequently appearing on promotional videos for “Nordic Special” TV programs by NHK, Japanese public broadcasting organization – as you know, one of organizers of NHK Trophy (the other organizer is Japan Skating Federation).
In the videos, Kiira says “shi-a-wa-se” which means “Happiness” in Japanese.
“Nordic Special – from countries of happiness -” programs will be started from Sat, 23 to Sun, 31 July and they will introduce the charms of 5 Nordic countries with 70 programs for 80 hours.
Yesterday, I found a really huge poster of Kiira at Shinjuku station in Tokyo! Wow!

Today at the exhibition gala of the European Championships in Bern Kiira performed her new gala program. The program took inspiration from movie star glamor.

Just only one regret: she fails the GP Finals in Beijing for two – damned – points! What a pity…
But this isn’t so important, at the moment…
Kiira did it! Finally!
She deserved such a satisfaction.

At the same day as we unveiled our new site, the new official site at www.kiirakorpi.fi has been published today.
Kiira Korpi's new official site - www.kiirakorpi.fi
It features a Twitter feed, new photo and video gallery and a events calendar. There is also a mood meter which Kiira says she update with her phone during competitions and upload photos!
We hope everyone likes the both new sites, these are a great way to cheer Kiira for the new season! Everything is renewed now!
